Contribute
Thanks to the work of many volunteers, OpenTechSchool is able to offer free tech education to a wide range of learners. Volunteers contribute their time and share their knowledge to make OTS events a place where everyone can learn, connect and grow.
Join the movement by coaching learners, organizing events in your city or offering general support. If you have ideas on how to improve the learning experience, just come and tell us! OpenTechSchool is always looking for individuals who like to give back to the community.
Become a volunteer
If you are intersted in volunteering work, don't hesitate to contact us even if you are not sure how to contribute yet. Here are a few examples on how to volunteer, but there are so many more!
Become a coach
Coaches help to spread the fun of coding. They are not only supporting learners with the expertise and knowledge, they also try to create a friendly and welcoming environment at the events.
Read more about coaching at our coaching guidelines.
Organize a meetup
As an organizer you plan and schedule a meetup in your city, promote them and make sure there are enough coaches available.
Read more about how to organize a co-learning meetup.
Open a new chapter
If you are interested in organizing tech events or regular meetups for the community but your city doesn't have an OTS chapter yet, we can help you getting started.
Become a supporter
If you like what OpenTechSchool is doing, but you can't volunteer, there are other ways to support the initiative.
Maybe you have a space to offer or you want to sponsor the next event. If you are interested in a cooperation please get in touch.
Another way to support OpenTechSchool is to become a member of the foundation. By becoming a member you're actively supporting the community with your membership fees. Read more about a membership.

At our events
The best way to get in touch with the community is at our events. Just come by, feel the vibe and speak to one of the organizers. Nice to meet you!
Online chat
We are using Slack to connect and share information beyond the events. Say hi in the #general channel or find the one for your city.
Email
Contact us directly if you have a general question and the above options are not working for you. We love to hear from you, but remember we are all volunteers and might need some time to reply.
